You are invited to join us on a 3 day and 2 night trip to the internationally renowned Bavarian-themed town of Leavenworth. We will see two fantastic outdoor musicals, "The Sound of Music" and "Singin' in the Rain" produced by the highly acclaimed Leavenworth Summer Theater. Deluxe accommodations will be yours at the Bavarian Lodge, the newest grand hotel in Leavenworth. It is located directly across the street from the town square, easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. We take pride in the accommodations we choose!
On our first night in Leavenworth, we will see "The Sound of Music" as the sun falls behind the ridge, the moon rises over the valley, and Maria descends the hillside--literally--singing the title song. A Bavarian Village classic! The next night we will have dinner together at Café Mozart, a charming upscale European restaurant offering superb dining in traditional Viennese style. After dinner we will see "Singin' in the Rain" in the outdoor amphitheater at Hatchery Park. The park provides a wonderful setting for this Broadway adaptation of the MGM classic film, all topped off with spirited tap dancing and the famous rain scene.
Our chartered bus will depart on the 21st of July from the Everett vicinity at 10:00am. We will stop in the antique capital of the Northwest, Snohomish where you can purchase a self-pay lunch of your choosing. We will board the bus and travel via the scenic Stevens Pass Highway, following the Wenatchee River and descending through the Tumwater Canyon into Leavenworth.

We have discovered that people who listen to our music are really great people! An excursion provides a tremendous opportunity for Katherine and I to spend time on a personal level with those great people! And it's a good opportunity for all the great people to meet each other. It's really fun to get connected with each other! You need not be a harp music fan to travel with us -- we visit locations where there is much to entertain you in addition to some outstanding, wonderful music.
During our excursion a concert is always included, whether it is a performance by Katherine and myself, or a program presented by other performers. More tours have been planned for the future. In 2010, we are excited to be planning one to Sedona, Arizona!
We are always looking for your suggestions. We might go to Branson to attend one of their spectacular shows. How about New Orleans where jazz was born? We might go on another cruise. Any ideas? We're very interested in your suggestions. We invite you to join us on these "delightful excursions to charming destinations!" Be sure to let us know if you would like to be included in receiving more information as it becomes available. Please make sure you are on our mailing list.
Keep HARPIN' on our music!
